Reflection 9-29-08

If I were to use a research module or a webquest in my class, I would choose to start with the webquest. My students would like the use of the computer and the use of the websites, but I think letting them go to research on their own - without specific guidance may be too much for them. My students whose disabilities are typically in reading would need to be guided to websites with a readability that they can access.


The use of WebQuest in my classroom would impact my role, because I would have to create the webquest and allow the students to navigate through it with minimal help from me. Once I showed them the basis of it, they would be the ones who had to work with it. I think this may be empowering them.
