Some of the challenges of tellacollaborative projects for my students would be:
~the principal/school system permission to use them
~the students' writing abilities -- most of my students have issues with spelling/grammar and may be unsure about writing and posting things for other students and teachers to see. I would have to proof and edit the posts for them.
Some of the rewards for my students would be:
~to see new places and experience new cultures that they have never been exposed to before.
~to have an authentic learning experience where they feel ownership of the learning.
~to communicate with the other students around the world.
~this could build the students confidence in their writing abilities and give them an authentic audience-- maybe a real motivation builder!!
